Socially Responsible: The underlying goal is not pure profit, but rather a transformational business. Income-Producing Businesses: These are authentic businesses that create value-added products or services and are not sustained by donations. Managed by Kingdom Leaders: Critical decision-makers are Kingdom leaders who seek to reflect Jesus's teachings. Committed to The Local Church: The business supports partnership with the indigenous church in the community. Glorifying to God: The name of God is the ultimate object of praise, not the name of the business.
Business as Mission Resources
Below is a list of Business as Mission resources. If you are aware of any resources that should be added to the list or something that should be blogged about, click here to email me.
With a passion to connect more people to the growing movement of Business as Mission the blog was started in early 2006. By providing news and information on various resources and companies we hope to inspire and connect others to opportunities to get involved.
The blog was started by Justin Forman, a businessman with an entrepreneurial drive and a passion to fuse business and ministry together. He and his wife Sharee have a passion for business as mission and live outside of Dallas, Texas. They are actively involved at Allen Bible Church. Justin graduated from Baylor University and enjoys focusing his energy towards igniting this generation of 20 and 30-somethings to get involved in the Business as Mission movement through the Business as Mission Blog and Monthly E-Zine. He is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Bluefish TV and The Rightnow Campaign.
